Two weeks ago to be exact, Kick-Start threw a fantastic evening as usual, with bands booked through Emues at Babel in Malmö, Sweden.
We had the opportunity to meet up with Anton Ego before the show, watch our short interview with them below:

You guys remember Anna Jadéus & the Miracle Orchestra that we wrote about not too long ago? Finally they’re soon about to release their debut album ‘Ramtadam’ on Rolling Sound Records. To celebrate this fantastic news, there will be a release party at Babel in Malmö, Sweden, on May 22nd. The keywords for the evening will be ‘Music, Love and Revolution’.

Together with Anton Ego they successfully got booked by their fans, on Thursday they’ll be playing at Kick-Start on Babel in Malmö. Automobilist is a Swedish rock band located in Malmö whom we got the opportunity to meet for a quick chat. We discussed everything from being a parent to how to grow as a band. Watch the video below:

I’ve been wanting publish these photos for a while now. Friday February 13th brought nothing but good luck to me, I had namely the privilege to watch Whales perform at Grand, in Malmö, Sweden. I’ve summarised the show in some photos. Only photos though, but hopefully you can still imagine the great feeling they brought to the audience .

Dry the River are an English Alternative-rock band formed 2009 in East London. The band played their first show in 2010 in Kilburn, London and in March 2011 they released their debut single ‘No Rest’. They have played at some of Biffy Clyro’s openings and they have also played a lot of festivals over the years.
On April 2nd they will be playing at Babel here in Malmö, Sweden. Do not miss the opportunity to see them live!

Hannah Harvigsson is a Swedish singer- songwriter in the band Hanutten, who together with some friends won the competition “Battle of Bands” in 2013. Since the competition Hanutten’s had some fellow musicians with her who have helped her enhance the expression and intensify the atmosphere in the music.
Hanutten will be playing at Stenkrossen in Lund, Sweden, February 11th.

Kick-start threw a fantastic evening at Babel last Thursday.
The premises were filled with a happy and engaged audience who along with the bands created a delightful atmosphere.
Ensamhushåll opened the evening with a fine sweep followed up by Funked up who really did their own thing. The evening continued with lovely Nola who moved the whole audience with her beautiful singing. The evening ended in the best possible way with Joe and the anchor who additionally gave us two samples av their new songs.
