A couple of months ago Joe & The Anchor were booked by over 100 fans for an amazing show in Malmö through Emues. Now they have released their second single, I’ll Risk It.
“We wanted the video to emphasise the feeling of the song rather than the story.”
The video is created together with Mattias and Markus Thernström Florin, who also made the video to Keep Your Head Up High.Nora Birde plays the main character.

Two weeks ago to be exact, Kick-Start threw a fantastic evening as usual, with bands booked through Emues at Babel in Malmö, Sweden.
We had the opportunity to meet up with Anton Ego before the show, watch our short interview with them below:
Here is our picture review from the evening!
The line up this evening:
During the years, series of documentaries about Nirvana and their lead member Kurt Cobain have been made. This year on May 4th, HBO will send the latest production ‘Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck’ on television. The film has been described as
“an unfiltered Kurt experience”
and focuses on Cobain on a personal plan during his living years.
We are looking forward to dig deeper into the Nirvana and Cobain flow. Watch the trailer for the documentary below:

The Swedish duo Daniel Johansson and Joakim Sveningsson aka ‘Friska Viljor’ are back with the new single ‘In my sofa I’m safe’. The single was released on March 6th and totally lived up to my expectations. The Swedish musician Jonathan Johansson is to release his new album ‘Lebensraum’ 18th of March. Jonathan recently released a video ‘Alla Helveten’ containing all the lyrics printed on screen. Jonathan once told that a lot of people are complaining because they can’t hear what he is singing. Therefore he decided to display the lyrics on the screen. When Jonathan and his friends were making the video, they came to realise that with the lyrics being shown on screen, the video became even more powerful.
Have a look at the video here:
We love this video. We love Jonathan Johansson. We love Malmö.
Jonathan is about to play in Sweden and Denmark in the near future, buy your tickets here
OkGo is really one of my favorite bands when it comes to making awesome and inspiring music videos. A lot of their videos are filmed in only one sequence which means they have to make everything correct throughout the whole video. Otherwise they have to start all over again. The videos contain a lot of humor and even though some of the videos may look “sparingly” designed, you never reach the point when you get tired of them.
Here are some of my favorites:
(I really had to sort these out because I think they’re all hilarious)
Besides from their awesome videos, OkGo’s latest album ‘Hungry Ghost’ just got available on Spotify. Have a listen!
