People say there’s always a first time for everything.
With EMUES, last week, there was a first time for 2 things: the first EXPIRED gig and the first SOLD OUT gig.
The suggestion was up to see Crying Day Care Choir and Frantic Sunday and the amazing people at Rockfoto got onboard and would also put up an awesome exhibition together with the gig, all at STPLN.
Tomas, from Frantic Sunday, invited everybody to get together and make it happen and by the deadline, unfortunately, not enough tickets got sold. Because of that, there will be no gig for them or exhibtion.
EMUES has empowered about 500 people to make over 8 concerts happen for more than 21 bands in the last 5 months. There was more live music available, in more places, to more fans who wanted to see their favorite artist live in their town. All this is only possible because of YOU! Meet Frantic Sunday: a Swedish band from Uppsala formed in 2008 by four people with a common aim. Stay Frantic.
The band rehearsed together for the first time the last Sunday of September 2008. Since then, over 80 gigs in the U.S., Norway and Sweden has been played, among them the Peace and Love festival, Debaser Medis and Debaser Malmö. The band has been commended by critics and audiences alike, both for the live shows and the recordings.
The past year indie four-piece Frantic Sunday rotated on MTV and Swedish national radio channel P3, and played at one of Sweden’s biggest festivals, Way Out West.
Now they’re back with a new single, “Things We Do” and about to kick off their Summer Tour!
And because they’re on Emues, you can suggest a gig for them!
Enjoy the new single and make sure to bring them to a venue next to you.
On stage we proudly present The Guide together with Stina Künstlicher. So, bring your own beer and join us for some sweet music and chill hang out with your friends.
But this time, we’re taking it to the core: only YOU can make this concert happen! 20 tickets HAVE to be sold by next Tuesday (March 6th), otherwise, there will be no concert. So come on, support The Guide and Stina Künstlicher now by getting tickets. They wanna play!
Some of the bands registered on Emues are keeping themselves very busy. Fredrik was touring in California, Woodstripe just got back in Sweden from touring in San Francisco. Skilla did 3 gigs in a row for Schools. It looks like they had a blast!
