The Swedish boys of Poplöst have released a new single. These talented lads light up the crowds with their pop-enthusiasm on stage. Their music has a playful feel, delivering sing-a-long tunes, and has matured with this latest single, “Vita Snittet” (now available on Spotify and iTunes). The song takes us back. Enjoy.
And, do like Markus, CEO of Emues. Head to the ocean with Poplöst in your ears.
Poplöst is playing at Malmöfestivalen this year. See them there!

We have been following BOA, a band registered on Emues.com, with excitement as they have released new tunes, remixes and videos during the past year, filled with pure Gothenburg-pop. Today, the band releases a new EP, which they explain as:
Something old, something new, something borrowed and a studio on the Swedish country side.
This new EP, “Time Flies”, contains three songs that are all charactarized by a vintage or “retro” feel. The first track, Played My Part, can be listened to through Soundcloud below:
BOA is Orsi Toró (vocals), Botond Bokor (guitar), Attila Bokor (guitar), Olof Gadd (bass), William Seidl (drums) and you can find them online through their website and Facebook. You can of course suggest a gig with the band through Emues as well, and get BOA booked at a venue near you.
This Is Head recently returned from a Toronto-NYC tour, just to host a release party for their second album The Album ID. The new album has already been praised by multiple reviewers around the globe and described as stronger, refined, more direct and an amplified version of their first album. What we like about This Is Head is their ability to recreate the experimental depth from their recordings when playing live. At the release party in Malmö, Sweden yesterday, Danish friends Ring Them Bells supported, with their intense noise rock. We were glad to celebrate This Is Head’s launch of The Album ID and hope to see these Swedes go global this year.
