No one should live their life alone, nor live a life without listening to Jonathan Johansson song Aldrig ensam (*Never alone). That’s why I’m now glad to find out that this Malmö bound singer recently released a new album: Ett språk för dom dömda (freely translated: A language for the judged ones). It’s a fantastic album, with a deep and dark sound. This is definitely gonna be one of my autumn soundtracks!

This Is Head recently returned from a Toronto-NYC tour, just to host a release party for their second album The Album ID. The new album has already been praised by multiple reviewers around the globe and described as stronger, refined, more direct and an amplified version of their first album. What we like about This Is Head is their ability to recreate the experimental depth from their recordings when playing live. At the release party in Malmö, Sweden yesterday, Danish friends Ring Them Bells supported, with their intense noise rock. We were glad to celebrate This Is Head’s launch of The Album ID and hope to see these Swedes go global this year.
