Swedish singer songwriter Daniel Walke forms the backbone of High Coast, with songs
based around his evocative lyrics and acoustic guitar. Daniel is often joined on stage by the band which nowadays comprises Agust Wegestål, Sakib Zabbar and Victor Becker.
Since 2010, Daniel Walke has been writing songs about a wide range of subjects including the lives and happenings of himself and others, of natural disasters, films and nature. The project draws comparison to similar bands and artists in the genre, such as Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine and Great Lake Swimmers.
High Coast's eponymous debut EP was released in early 2013, and was warmly received by indie music-blogs in Sweden and internationally.
