This band have more genuine energy on stage than a substantial chunk around the so-called scene. This is carefree, yo-yoing from sugar highs to lows to highs, teenage humour infused, almost-summer music. It the kind of lo-fi, grunge-influenced music you want to hear blaring out of a garage in the suburbs and then knock on the door to figure out how you can get in on the fun. And they’ll probably let you in too. Francobollo put on a good show, played their hearts out and kept the audience’s full attention, but also did it like pros. Their music might be easygoing, but their talent is airtight. These are the soundtracks to letting everyone know that they should just relax.
